Cooper-All's to Cpt.Highliner

With numerous teams making alterations and/or additions to their line-up of uniforms for the upcoming NHL season, it is always interesting to take a walk down memory lane and take a look back at some of the leagues past attempts at making a fashion statement.

For every eye sour from the Captain Highliner tribute worn by the New York Islanders and the Burger King honoured third jersey sported by the Los Angeles Kings from the mid 1990’s, you are fortunate to see some classics worn by Toronto St.Pats before they became the Toronto Maple Leafs or the classic look of the old California Seals.

The NHL Uniforms web site gives you a great look into the history of jerseys and uniforms worn by all the clubs during their time as a member of the National Hockey League. From every special patch worn during the various seasons, the subtle and huge over hauls made by the teams, as well as the Cooper-All experiment made by the Hartford Whalers and the Philadelphia Flyers in the early 1980’s, this site has every team covered from head to toe.

Check it out....
